Anıtkabir

Anıtkabir is the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the first President of Türkiye, located in Anıttepe, Ankara. Furthermore, the 4th President, Cemal Gürsel, was buried in the Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery in 1966.

Since 1973, İsmet İnönü's grave has also been located in Anıtkabir.

Construction began on October 9, 1944. Construction of Anıtkabir was completed in four phases over a nine-year period in 1953.

Anıtkabir consists of three sections: a road, a courtyard, and a hall of honor. The road is 180 meters long. Lion statues, torches, and cypress trees are planted on both sides. At the end is a courtyard.

Roman Baths

The Ankara Roman Baths are located in Ankara's Altındağ district, on Çankırı Street, which runs from Ulus Square to Yıldırım Beyazıt Square. Built in the 3rd century by Roman Emperor Caracalla, son of Septimius Severus, in honor of the goddess of health, Asclepius. Today known as the Roman Baths, this platform is a mound containing Roman-era ruins (partially Byzantine and Seljuk foundations) and a Phrygian-era settlement beneath.
